Obsttorte Crust for Fruit Torte


  • 3 cups flour
  • ¼ cup + 2 Tablespoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 eggs yolks
  1. Mix flour and sugar.
  2. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs
  3. Add egg yolks and mix to form dough.                  
  4. Press dough into bottom and sides of a 10-inch spring form pan.
  5. Dough should come 1 ½ inches up the sides.      
  6. Bake in pre-heated at 375′ f oven for 20 to 25 minutes until pastry is firm and light brown
