Mo’s Styled Clam Chowder

  1. 12 oz Center Cut Oscar Myer Bacon; diced
  2. 1 large Onion diced
  3. 1/8 cup Flour
  4. 1/4 cup water
  5. 3 cans Minced clams; (6 oz. each)
  6. Drain and rinse clams to remove sand
  7. Check clams for green stomach content and remove
  8. 1 pkg Ore-Ida Southern Style Hash Browns
  9. 6 cups whole milk
  10. 1 teaspoon salt
  11. 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  12. 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  13. 1 cube butter
  14. 1 a 8 oz pkg Ham; diced, John Morrell
  1. Sauté bacon until brown.
  2. Dice and Add onion and sauté until limp; drain off fat.
  3. Add clams, milk, ham, and seasonings.
  4. Heat to a boil in large pan
  5. Stir in flour into water and smooth out lumps.
  6. Add flour and water and stir in
  7. Add potatoes.
  8. Heat to a boil and then lower heat to a simmer
  9. Cook about 20 minutes until potatoes are soft
  10. Stirring about every three minutes
  11. Let’s set five minutes before serving
