New Year’s Eve Dinner


2016- had 17 for dinner

  1. Steaks
    1. Pre-heat oven and pan starting 40 to 45 minutes before serving time!
    2. 1″ boneless rib eyes – 1 per guest (cut in half after cooking) – ( 2013 – ate 8 1/2 steaks) (13 steaks ate 8 1/2 steaks about)
    3. 8 minutes on a side not closer than 4 inches from broiler unit – DON’T OVER COOK!
    4. (Let rest for 10 minutes before cutting or the juice runs out and the steaks are dry!!)
    5. Sharpen Steak knives
  2. Sautéed Onions
    1. 2 large white onions sliced
  3. Sautéed Mushrooms
    1. 2 packages white or brown or mixed whole
  4. Barbecued Pork Ribs
    1. 2 slabs Baby-back pork ribs – (2013 – ate 1 slab full ribs)
    2. 1 bottle Famous Dave’s Original sauce
  5. Baked Potato
    1. small to medium yellows – (2013 – ate 11 of 13)
    2. butter
    3. sour cream
  6. Tossed Salad
    1. Tomatoes
    2. Avocadoes
    3. Croutons
  7. Vegetable tray
    1. Pickles
    2. Olives
  8. Feather Rolls
  9. Hot Clam Dip

Drinks

  1. Sparkling Punch – Sprite and Fruit Punch – (2013 – 2 bottles of Sprite worth)
  2. Shrimp Cocktail
