Dutch-Oven Potatoes

  • 3 lbs. yellow potatoes
  • 3 cans Cream of Mushroom soup
  • 16 oz. white mushrooms – optional
  • 1.5 lb. Wight thick cut bacon cooked
  • 3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 large onion
  • Salt and pepper
  • 12 qt Dutch oven
  • 32 oz box of Chicken Broth

  • Slice potatoes
  • Slice onion
  • Layer potatoes with mushrooms, bacon, cheese, onion, soup.
  • Salt and pepper each layer lightly.
  • pour chicken broth over the top
  • Put lid on.
  • Bake in oven at 350 degrees for two hours or until potatoes are soft.
