Cranberry Salad

Make two days ahead


Traditional Cranberry Salad

  • 1 12oz bag Ocean Spray cranberries
  • 2 Granny Smith apples
  • 1 large orange
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 20 oz. can Dole Crushed Pineapple
  • 6 oz. package raspberry [not cherry] Jell-O
  • 2 cups boiling cranberry juice
  • Pan: Glass 9×13″ casserole
  1. Grind 1/2 of orange, cranberries, and apple.
  2. Drain liquid from ground fruit and pineapple.
  3. Mix with sugar, pineapple, and ground mixture.
  4. Let stand 30 minutes.
  5. Boil cranberry juice.
  6. Add Jell-O to boiling cranberry juice.
  7. Stir for 2 or 3 minutes.
  8. Add in cold cranberry juice.
  9. Stir for 2 or 3 minutes.
  10. Add Jell-O to 9×13 casserole.
  11. Mix in fruit mixture.
  12. Refrigerate 2 days.
