Pecan Pie (Bill’s Recipe)

(it takes 3 recipes for two 9 inch pies)


  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup Karo Corn Syrup
  • 3/4 square butter-melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup pecans (Toni uses 2 1/2 to 3 cups)
  • Pan: 10 inch glass pie plate
  • Oven: 350′
  • Time: 45 minutes. (or longer – test by seeing if the filling jiggles or not – not is done)
  1. Beat eggs, brown sugar, Karo Corn Syrup, butter, salt, and vanilla.
  2. Add pecans.
  3. Pour into uncooked pie crust.
  4. Bake.
