Dutch-Oven Potatoes

in the Oven

  1. 5 lbs. yellow potatoes

  2. 3 cans Cream of Mushroom soup

  3. 16 oz. white mushrooms - optional

  4. 1.5 lb. Wight thick cut bacon

  5. 3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

  6. 1 large onion

  7. Salt and pepper

  8. 12 qt Dutch oven

  9. 1 can Chicken Broth

  

  1. Fry bacon or bake in oven

  2. Separate into 3 piles

  3. Cut or break bacon in to 1 to 1.5 inch pieces

  4. Separate the potatoes into 3 piles

  5. Cut potatoes into inch round slides

  6. Cut onion in to slices and then chop

  7. Separate the onions into 3 piles

  8. Spray Dutch oven with Pam

  9. Layer bacon on bottom

  10. Layer potatoes

  11. Salt and pepper layer

  12. Add onions layer

  13. Spread on 1 can of the soup

  14. Add 1 cup shredded cheese

  15. Repeat 2 times

  16. Add mushrooms after the last layer of potatoes

  17. Add broth

 Cover and bake at 350 for 2 hours
