New Year’s Eve Dinner


2016- had 17 for dinner

  1. Steaks

    1. Pre-heat oven and pan starting 40 to 45 minutes before serving time!

    2. 1" boneless rib eyes - 1 per guest (cut in half after cooking) - ( 2013 - ate 8 1/2 steaks) (13 steaks ate 8 1/2 steaks about)

    3. 8 minutes on a side not closer than 4 inches from broiler unit - DON'T OVER COOK!

    4. Let rest for 10 minutes before cutting or the juice runs out and the steaks are dry!!)

  2. Sautéed Onions

    1. 2 large white onions sliced

  3. Sautéed Mushrooms

    1. 2 packages white or brown or mixed whole

  4. Barbecued Pork Ribs

    1. 2 slabs Baby-back pork ribs - (2013 - ate 1 slab full ribs)

    2. 1 bottle Famous Dave's Original sauce

  5. Baked Potato

    1. small to medium yellows - (2013 - ate 11 of 13)

    2. butter

    3. sour cream

  6. Tossed Salad

    1. Tomatoes

    2. Avocadoes

    3. Croutons

  7. Vegetable tray

    1. Pickles

    2. Olives

  8. Drinks

    1. Sparkling Punch - Sprite and Fruit Punch - (2013 - 2 bottles of Sprite worth)

    2. Shrimp Cocktail

  9. Feather Rolls

  10. Sharpened Steak knives
