Fruit Salad


2 cans pineapple tidbits
2 cans mandarin oranges
4 tablespoons cornstarch
¾ cup sugar
1pt whipping cream
2 bananas
½ cup maraschino cherries

 

  1. Drain Pineapple—Keep juice from pineapple     

  2. Heat drained pineapple juice to boiling

  3. Combine sugar and cornstarch

  4. Add mixture to boiling pineapple juice

  5. Cook until clear and thick

  6. Cool

  7. Whip cream stiff

  8. Combine whipped cream and cooled pineapple mixture

  9. Fold into fruit mixture.
