Borden Creamy Egg Nog Pie


1 9-inch prebaked pastry shell

1 6-serving size package Jello Vanilla flavor pudding mix (not instant)

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 1/2 cups canned Borden Egg Nog

1 Teaspoon rum flavoring

2 cups whipping cream, whipped

Additional ground nutmeg

  1. Mix in a medium sauce pan, combine pudding mix , 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg and egg nog.
  2. Stir over medium heat until cooked and thickened and bubbly.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in rum flavoring.
  4. Cool thoroughly.
  5. Beat until smooth.
  6. Fold in whipped cream.
  7. Spoon into pastry shell.
  8. Garnish with additional nutmeg.
  9. Chill until set (4 hours).
