Pecan Pie (Bill's Recipe)

(it takes 3 recipes for two 9 inch pies)


3 eggs
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup Karo Corn Syrup
3/4 square butter-melted
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup pecans (Toni uses 2 1/2 to 3 cups)

Pan: 10 inch glass pie plate
Oven: 350'
Time: 45 minutes. (or longer - test by seeing if the filling jiggles or not - not is done)

  1. Beat eggs, brown sugar, Karo Corn Syrup, butter, salt, and vanilla.
  2. Add pecans.
  3. Pour into uncooked pie crust.
  4. Bake.
