Elegant Creamy Baked Chicken

Recipe from Susan Stokes

5 or 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts

1 package dry Italian salad dressing mix

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 can of cream of chicken soup

1 package cream cheese - very soft

1 cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese

2 tablespoons dehydrated minced onion


Pan: 9 x 13 pan sprayed with PAM

Oven: 350

Time: 1 hour

  1. Warm cream cheese to room temperature to soften

  2. Rehydrate onion in warm water for 30 minutes

  3. Cut chicken breast into serving size pieces

  4. Lay chicken in a single layer in pan

  5. Sprinkle package of Italian seasoning dressing mix over chicken

  6. Mix cream cheese and soups with a mixer

  7. Add shredded cheese and onions

  8. Spread mixture over the chicken evenly

  9. Bake uncovered for one hour or until chicken is cooked through



3 14.5 ounce cans Chicken Broth (need 6 cups broth & water)

3 cups rice


Combine broth and rice in pan

Heat to boil


Reduce heat to low

Cook 20 minutes
