Turkey Dressing


Dry Bread Crumbs (14 oz package
1 lb Sausage (Sage if available)
Chicken Broth
Water Chestnuts
Fresh mushrooms
1 large Onion
4 stalks of Celery
Ground Sage (2 Tablespoons)
˝  teaspoon pepper
1 cube Butter

 

  1. Put package of cubed bread in large mixing bowl

  2. Fry sausage and add to cubed bread

  3. Sauté onion and celery in butter. Add to mixture

  4. Add water chestnuts and mushrooms.

  5. Stir in Chicken broth until mixture is moist.

  6. Put dressing into a greased dripper pan.

  7. Cook at 350’ for 1 ˝  to 2 hours
