Pork Loin


 

Large Pork Loin - not a tender loin

Montreal Steak Seasoning

Roasting pan

Foil to cover bottom of roasting pan

 

  1. accordion fold foil for bottom of roasting pan and place in pan

  2. Place loin on foil fat side up

  3. Sprinkle fat side with seasoning

  4. Bake at 325' for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours  until 140' internal temp

  5. Let stand for 15 minutes before cutting

Pork Loin Gravy

 

drippings from the pork roast

half cup flour

2 cups milk

1 cube butter

 

  1. Pour the drippings from the pork roast into a large saucepan
  2. Pour 1 cup water into a 2 cup Pyrex measuring cup
  3. Add flour to water
  4. Whisk until smooth
  5. Bring drippings to a boil
  6. Add butter
  7. Whisk in water flour mixture
  8. Cook until thick about 1 to 2 minutes
  9. Add more drippings after you cut the pork
  10. Add milk and stir together
