Fried Chicken

Ingredients

  1. chicken breasts
  2. chicken thighs
  3. chicken drumsticks
  4. saltine crackers
  5. vegetable oil or butter flavored Crisco
  6. eggs
  • electric frying pan or skillet
  • Dutch oven or large  pan with lid
  • preheat oven to 350'
  • preheat about a 1/2 to 3/4 inch of oil at 350'
  1. skin chicken if you like it skinned
  2. crumb crackers
  3. beat eggs
  4. heat vegetable oil in frying pan on medium heat -- about 350'
  5. coat chicken pieces in eggs
  6. then coat them in cracker crumbs
  7. fry them until golden brown on each side - about five minutes per side
  8. place pieces in a Dutch oven or large pan with the lid
  9. bake in the oven at 350' for about 60 minutes
