Apricot Nectar Cookies

  1. 3 Cups Flour

  2. 1 teaspoon baking soda

  3. 3/4 cup sugar

  4. 1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar

  5. 2 cubes butter

  6. 1 large egg

  7. 1/4 cup apricot nectar - canned fruit was used

  8. 1/2 cup apricot preserves

  9. 2 cups chopped dried apricots

 

Preheat oven to 300'

  1. Add sugars and mix

  2. Add butter and mix

  3. Add egg, apricot nectar, apricot preserves, and mix

  4. Add flour and baking soda and mix until just combined

  5. Combine flour mixture and dried apricots

  6. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheet about 1 1/2 inches apart

  7. Bake 22-24 minutes

  8. Cool on baking sheets 5 minutes

  9. Finish cooling on a cool surface
