Granola Cereal

Carol Weight's Recipe


6 cups rolled oats (not quick oats)
1 cup raw wheat germ
1 cup raw whole sunflower seeds
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup dry milk
1/2 cup flour
2 cup almonds - chopped
1 cup honey
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup Crisco oil

Pan: Broiler pan or other large pan
Oven: 225
Time: 2 hours - stir every 30 minutes

1. Mix dry ingredients.
2. Mix honey and vanilla.
3. Mix dry ingredients with oil.
4. Stir until well coated.
5. Add honey mixture.
6. Stir in well. (may be lumpy)
7. Spread on pan.
8. Toast - stir every 30 minutes.
